Today in Mr. Schick's Western Civilization class we learned about Prehistory to civilization. I learned that the prehistoric age was before people learned to write things down. Also the Paleolithic age was the earliest prehistoric age and the neolithic age was when advanced tool making and agricultural began. Migratory groups of those times were people who hunted and grew crops. The agricultural revolution was when people started to store and grow food and one place which causes everything to advance. The people advanced in the way they lived by having the population grow and with the invention of both the wheel and the plow. Back in these times there were a lot of polytheists, people who worshiped more then one god, and hierarchies which showed where different people stood on the social latter. One place that had huge advances and growth was in Sumer which was located between the Tigerus and the Euphrates. With the growth of many groups of people came the kings and the first form of writing, cuniform.
